What we collect
When you use the Request a Callback form we receive what you type in: your name and phone number, and, if you choose to give them, your email address, town or postcode, the type of work and your message. The email we receive also records the date, the page you sent it from and your IP address, which helps us to spot spam.
If you phone or email us directly, we receive whatever you tell us.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to quote for and carry out electrical work, and to keep the records a business has to keep. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where you go ahead with work, on the contract between us. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.
Who sees it
Enquiries are sent by email through our website host's mail servers to our own inbox. A copy is also sent to the company that built and maintains this website, so that it can check the form is working. Neither uses your details for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request. If we carry out work for you, we keep job records, certificates and invoices for as long as the law and good practice require.
Cookies and maps
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Some pages show a Google map. Google may set its own cookies when a map loads, under Google's privacy policy.
